The Marble Bengal

IWCH Windstorm Opium Delight of Jadasia

We are very proud to present to you Opium and Kisha, an exceptional couple of  marbles.

Opium obtained his Championship title in one week-end in Philadelphia, USA, when he was one year old. Since, he has becomes an International Champion and soon will be an ‘International Grand Champion’. In shows, he is like a clown making continuously the judges and the spectators laugh.

Kisha, his girlfriend, has the most soft coat a cat can have and is very affectuous. She has a very developed maternal side, always taking care of the kittens issued from other females. She’s dreaming of the day when she will have babies from Opium.

The Marble Bengal is not spotted, but his coat is full of swirls of color over its body, with a spotted belly, giving the appearance of a Boa snake pattern.

Because of the fluid movement of the Bengal, this pattern gives a striking "wild" look.

The pattern may consist of several colors, in the brown tabby division, of either brown, black, cream, gold, or orange. Many times the marble will have a tricolored pattern.

Marbles also come in snow colors, so the result would be a "snow marble".

The best marbles have a horizontal flow to their pattern, instead of the circular "bulls-eye" typically seen on classic (blotched) tabby cats.
